The Walk-Through
Jan 15 · Season opens
Aisha opens T1 Season, picks 2026 and clicks once. Every personal client gets this year's return, each with its preparer and reviewer. Families come together as households, so the Reids are one card with two returns behind it.

Feb 1 · Organizers out
One send reaches all 400. Each client's organizer starts from what they told you last year, so Lisa only changes what is new. Reminders follow by email and text on Feb 15, Mar 15 and Apr 15, and stop for anyone whose return is filed.

Mar 4 · Slips are out
Lisa uploads the T4s, RRSP receipts and donation receipts from her phone. They land on each person's file, Aisha gets a notice, and the card shows the documents are in. No envelopes, no "which email was that in?"

Every day in March · The front desk
Not every client uploads. When Mr. Gill drops off a folder of slips, Laura logs it in seconds at the front desk. It becomes a card on the Work board with an owner, so the folder is never "somewhere in the office".

Every Monday · The whole season
T1 Season shows every return by status. Group by preparer to see who is busy. Rows light up when a return has sat in one status for 30 days, or a reminder failed, or there is no email on file. One click sends a reminder to everyone still waiting on documents.

Mar 18 to Mar 22
Aisha prepares both returns, claims the daycare expenses and moves the household to Under Review. Both returns move together, and she picks who looks next: David. He checks them and sends them on to be signed.

Tom and Lisa each get their T183 e-file consent to sign. Lisa signs that evening from the couch, Tom the next morning. Nobody prints, nobody drives in.
Mar 26 · Five weeks early
Aisha files both returns and marks the household Filed. Tom and Lisa see it in their portal with the filing date and confirmation number. Their reminders stop, and their 2027 returns are already created.

The fee was agreed when the Reids signed on, so the invoice is ready to go. It goes out with the PDF attached, and the household card shows what is owed and when it was paid.
